- Step 1. Open the headlight assembly to get access to the chrome housing. Here is an instruction on how to do it.
- Step 2. Once the headlight is open, you will need to pre-fit the halo rings to the chrome housing and pick the place where you want to run the wires. Mark this place with a dot on each side for every halo ring.
- Step 3. Drill the hole to run the wires in the place that you have previously marked. It’s recommended to drill from the back side not to scratch chrome.
- Step 4. Test the halo rings to make sure everything works properly. Here is a quick instruction on how to test halo rings.
- Step 5. Run the wires from the halos through the holes.
- Step 6. Clean the chrome housing in the place where you need to install halo rings. Apply adhesive on the back side of halos and firmly press them for 5-10 seconds.
- Step 7. Route the wires. The easiest way is to use vents for that. You will need to remove caps from the back side with a screwdriver, feed the halo wires through them and then snap the caps back. This way you will avoid extra drilling.
- Step 8. Connect the driver. Here is an instruction on how connect the halo driver.
- Step 9. Assemble the lights by installing chrome housing back and put the clear lens back.
- Step 10. Once the headlight is assembled, seal the headlight to prevent it from moisture. Here is a guide on how to seal headlights.
- Step 11. When headlight sealing is dry, install the headlight and wire it the way it used to be. The halo rings are usually wired to the parking lights. This way, they are on whenever the lights are on.
