How to Test Halo Lights

Whenever you purchase halo ring kit for your vehicle, you need to test it to make sure it works. If something won’t work, you can exchange the kit and get the working one before you remove and disassemble the lights. This easy procedure will save you a lot of time and effort. No matter whether you’ve got plasma, CCFL or LED halo, the procedure is pretty much the same.

To do that you can either use the vehicle’s battery, or just the 12V dill battery. Now, connect red wire running from the halo ring to “+” and black wire to “-”. When you do that, the ring should light up. If everything works fine, proceed to the installation process.

Plasma Halo Headlight Rings

I like the way these halo lights look. I cannot afford a custom headlight set, and that's not the vehicle that worth getting customized with those expensive fancy things. Yet, I have got regular red led halos by Oracle and my boyfriend installed them for me.

My C-Max is blue, and I've got blue oracle halo rings in the headlights. I like the way they look and change color to regular white, as I don't want a ticket from a police officer lol. Cannot say anything about testing or installation as I had a shop do that for me.

    Ok when u connect the red and black cable to the battery it should go on but what about the blue and green a mean how I know all the colors work ??

    My halo lights 4 installed in a 1963 Riviera.!All colors and functions work except for white. White used to be white…now that option yeilds a crappy yellow/ orange timted white. These are about 2 years old and never had an issue. Idears? Resets dont work…
